It took 6 months of hard work to prepare the 3d performance “Jehanne D’Arc” for the town of Vaucouleurs in France. In fine, the premiere took place on the 6th of July. It was a feather in our team’s cap!

The show will be taken place every weekend until 15 of September.

The show has been prepared for the 600 year anniversary of Joan D’Arc. It is an open air evening 3D performance. It is a combination of a 3D video, which is projected onto the surface of the middle-aged fortification and onto the gate, Porte de France, where the fateful for France campaign of Joan D’Arc started and the participation of the costumed actors. In the second part of the performance every viewer can communicate with the virtual Joan in real time. The 3d performance can also be viewed in the crypt of the middle-aged church, where the viewer can experience exceptional atmosphere.

The official website of the show is here (in French)-

For me it was volume and very responsible work as a superviser of the project. I performed practically all the work on the 3d film and on the virtual charater system. The MoCap was being shot in our studio “AnimArt” in Sevastopol, the rest work was done in Paris.

The production work was being done by the company Parques Majeures, the screenwriter and director of the project – Marc Joseph Siguad.

The historical objects connected to Joan D’Arc – the tree, the gate Porte de France and the rest of the fortification.
