Recently, I have faced with two problems using the backburner network rendering tool:
- One of the computers stubbornly refused to take up the task, producing an error 2. The reason was in maya’s installation path. So I suggest to install maya in the same local path on each computer as well as the path of the project and scene should be the same and shared for everyone.
- There was a problem to put the task to render queue, in the log there was an error “An attempt was made to access a socket methods banned access rights.” In solving this problem offering advice found on the Internet. In the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ services \ Tcpip \ Parameters \ add a parameter with a value (DWORD) “MaxUserPort” = fffe. And reboot you computer.
