Recently, I have faced with two problems using the backburner network rendering tool:

  1. One of the computers stubbornly refused to take up the task, producing an error 2. The reason was in maya’s installation path. So I suggest to install maya in the same local path on each computer as well as the path of the project and scene should be the same and shared for everyone.
  2. There was a problem to put the task to render queue, in the log there was an error “An attempt was made to access a socket methods banned access rights.” In solving this problem offering advice found on the Internet. In the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ services \ Tcpip \ Parameters \ add a parameter with a value (DWORD) “MaxUserPort” = fffe. And reboot you computer.
