Docking windows in the MoBu 2012 and above has its advantages as well as disadvantages.
The main proc of unite interface is the ability to use the Win7 alignment features. When Mobu consists of a series of windows, alignment and positioning of each window is a tedious process. With the function of docking is done easily – the manipulation of conducting the main window-parent.
But the main cons of this docking is that there is no possibility of safely move the child window on top of the application window, it always tries to dock into the interface, and it is constantly distracted from the process of animation. Of course if you have two monitors that makes it easier, but if one monitor and for example the graph editor needs to be moved over …
It is possible to switch off docking and make interface similar to the one that was in earlier versions of Mobu.
To do this, find the application configuration file (located in My Documents / MB / <version> -x64/config / <user name>. Application.txt)
find the category [Docking], in which the property DockingEnabled is responsible for docking function of windows.
Important! In 2012 Mobu this option is presented, but I do not advise to switch, Mobu will crash after the launch.
