On The Area I have found very interesting topic about viewport redrawing problem. It’s very popular propblem in developing when you are working with MoBu and another application and you want to see a result in MoBu’s 3d viewport when another application is in focus.

I think it’s possible to force update when focus is lost with the following hidden variable-

Open the *.application.txt config file from:-

Windows XP-
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\MotionBuilder 2010\bin\config

Windows VISTA-
C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Autodesk\MB2010\config

– Create a [Timing] section
– Under this section, create the variable: NoFastIdleOnDeactivate=False

Re-save the config file and restart.
